On Sunday, July 30 we will be implementing the new Child Safety Check-In system. The purpose of this system is to increase the security of our facility and the safety of our children during church activities and services. These new check-in procedures will only affect teachers and parents of children in the preschool department (Infants through Kindergarten) who will be attending child care, small groups, and children’s church. It may take some time to get used to the new procedure.

PARENTS, here is what you need to know for Sunday:

1) You will be required to check-in your child. The procedure is easy. Go to the desk in the building b foyer, type in your last name or the last four digits of your phone number, select your child, select the classes your child will be attending and you are done. It will automatically print a tag for your child or multiple tags if you have more than one in the preschool department.

Two tags will be printed per child. Stick the tag that has your child’s name on it to the back of their shirt and you keep the other tag. They will need this tag before they will be allowed to enter the classroom and you will need this tag to pick up your child.

2) With the exception of the teachers, church staff, and security personnel, no one will be allowed to enter the preschool department hallway without a printed check-in tag. This includes drop-off and pick-up times. Only one individual will be allowed to enter the hallway to drop off or pick up a child and only if they have the matching tag for that child. Please keep this in mind if you will be sending someone else to pick up your child.

3) Be patient. This is a new system and a new way of doing things. While it may be a little inconvenient, please keep in mind this is for the safety and security of our children.
