For the past 13 years, TBC has been taking groups to Casper Wyoming to work with Mountain Top Baptist Assembly. MTBA is owned by the Wyoming Baptist Convention and provides ministry camps to children, teens, and adults from around the state and surrounding states as well. The camp is located about 8 miles outside of Casper on Casper Mountain. Because of the elevation, it is only available for use from June through September. The rest of the year it is winterized and under a blanket of heavy snow.

TBC opens the camp from its Winter sleep and cleans and prepares it for the season to come. The preparations involve general maintenance, special construction projects as directed, repairs and painting, and work on the grounds such as tree removal and landscaping.

This year we will be working with a group from Arkansas to remodel the interior of the Bath House. We will do rough-in plumbing and framing for the showers and interior walls. Some of our group will clean all of the cabins and buildings getting them ready for required inspections by the state and county. We will also do general maintenance on the numerous vehicles owned by the camp and ensure everything meets the state fire codes.

Our time at MTBA supports the work of others who will be engaged in direct evangelism and ministry while providing a unique environment for fellowship and relationship building within our own mission team. Everyone who has gone with us to Wyoming looks back on the experience as a time of personal spiritual growth and we all count it a blessing to be a part of what God is doing to minister in a part of the country where resources are limited.

Please pray for our team and for the work of MTBA that the Gospel will bear much fruit this Summer and that God will be glorified in all that we do.
