“If then there is any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by thinking the same way, having the same love, sharing the same feelings, focusing on one goal.” (Philippians 2:1-2)

DON’T FORGET THE MAKE-UP CHOIR REHEARSAL AT 6:00 PM TOMORROW EVENING, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19. (This is make-up from revival week)

MUSIC FOR SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 23, 2007

Thank you for the wonderful job on “Here in Your Presence” last Sunday, in-spite of missing a rehearsal you didn’t show it at all, and you really led our Church family in worship. This week the choir will be singing “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus” in both services. If you sing in the early service be in the choir room by 8:00 am, and if you sing in the second service by 10:30 am. I really missed leading worship with you during revival. It was good to be back.

Mable Brown will sing the vocal praise with her daughter Pam in both service.

Mable Brown will play the piano and Virgie McGill will play the keyboard in the 8:15 service.

Kathy Perry will play the piano and Jean Lueken will play the keyboard in the 10:45 service.

The Praise Team will sing in the 10:45 service. The singers will be Cindy Muschany, Evette Eickelmann, Kathy and Bradley Perry.

Choir rehearsal will be at 6:00 pm

Praise Team rehearsal will be at 7:00 pm with Sharon Doyle, Nancy Logan, Kathy and Bradley Perry in attendance.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK

How Can you improve the quality and quantity of your prayer life?

NEW MEMBERS

Please welcome our newest Choir members Rick Matthiesen and Sonja Moore. Rick joined us on September 5 when we began work on our Christmas program and Sonja joined us during our open choir rehearsal this last Sunday. I am so grateful that the Lord sent them our way. Rick will be singing tenor and Sonja will be singing alto. If you missed the open choir rehearsals it’s not to late. All of our rehearsals are open so you can come join us anytime.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

Work has begun on our Christmas eve celebration. It’s not to late to get involved. You actually have until October to make your decision. You will just need to attend at least two rehearsals a month beginning in October. I hope everyone that has ever sung in choir will participate this year. It is my goal to one day have 50 choir members sing in a program. Normally we have between 38 and 44. So when you think about it 50 is not that big of a stretch. Please prayerfully consider being in the Christmas choir this year.
