MUSIC FOR SUNDAY NOVEMBER 23, 2008
Thank you for a great job on “Give Thanks” last Sunday, My wife said that the Choir sounded especially good to her. She has had to listen to enough choirs in her lifetime that she should know, so we will take her word for it. This Sunday is a special Sunday, because it is the Sunday before Thanksgiving, and we always try to have a special emphasis on this day every year. Because of this I am asking all Choir members to sing in both services. Please be in the Choir room by 8:00 for the first service and again at 10:30 am for the second service, we will be singing “Great Is The Lord”, a great song and you all sound so good on it. Your willingness to take the extra time to serve the Lord is much appreciated.
Glen Carter will sing the Vocal Praise in both services. (Always a Special Treat)
Kathy Perry will play the piano and Jean Lueken will play the keyboard in both services. (They will be playing their wonderful duets, another special treat)
The Praise Team will be singing in both services (they add so much to the service). The singers will be Sharon Doyle, Nancy Logan, Kathy Perry, and Bradley Perry.
Choir rehearsal will be at 5:30
There will be no Praise Team Rehearsal.
REHEARSAL CANCELATIONS
There will be no rehearsals on Wednesday evening November 26 or Sunday evening November 30, due to the Thanksgiving Holiday and festivities. Enjoy your Holiday and your break. Choir Rehearsal will Resume on Wednesday evening December 3 at 6:30 pm and Sunday, December 7 at 5:30 pm, Praise Team will resume at 7:00 pm.
CHRISTMAS EVE CELEBRATION
I hope you all are getting excited about our annual Christmas Eve Celebration. We have over 40 people committed to sing in the choir, and during rehearsals it is really starting to take shape. If you aren’t involved yet you still have time to get involved. There are still two more rehearsals this month and 6 more next month. Come sing with us, help us to reach our goal of 50 people. In the meantime our rehearsals are on Sunday evenings at 5:30 and on Wednesday evenings at 6:30. The program will be on December 24 (Christmas Eve), at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm with a light supper in between the two for program participants and their families. We will be wearing Choir robes for the program.

Wednesday, November 19- Church Thanksgiving Dinner 5:00 pm, Choir Rehearsal 6:30 pm.
Sunday, November 23- Everyone sings in both services, Choir Rehearsal 5:30 pm, No Praise Team Rehearsal.
Wednesay, November 26- No Rehearsals due to Thanksgiving Holiday
Thursday, November 27- HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
Sunday, November 30- No Choir or Praise Team in either service, and no rehearsals in the evening.
Wednesday, December 3- Choir Rehearsal Resumes at 6:30 pm
Sunday, December 7- Choir Rehearsal Resumes at 5:30 pm and Praise Team at 7:00 pm with Kalyn C., Erica T., Kathy P., and Bradley P. in attendance.
