We are making some changes to the Fall Festival to help facilitate social distancing. To make it work we will need extra help this year. Please read through the following guidelines for Fall Festival 2020 and be sure to sign up if you can help!

Candy Needed
  • How will it work? All Fall Festival activities will be outdoors. There will be no bounce houses or hayrides. Instead, we will set up a trunk-or-treat in the front parking lot. We will park vehicles around the lot in designated parking spots to ensure proper distancing. Each individual, family, or small group will be responsible for:
    • 1) arriving early to set up and decorate the vehicle(s) (please keep in mind, if you arrive late we may not be able to park your vehicle in the designated spot. Once the event starts we cannot have moving vehicles in the parking lot),
    • 2) manning the vehicle(s) with people to pass out candy during the Fall Festival,
    • 3) keeping candy stocked (all candy will be stored in a central location for you to refill your own candy buckets),
    • 4) running a game or activity at the vehicle (this is optional, we will have a limited number of games available), and
    • 5) clean up, including picking up trash and putting up games.
  •  How can I help?
    • 1) Bring candy donations. Purchase some bags of candy and bring them to the church before October 29th.
    • 2) Sign-up for a parking spot. We would like to have at least 30 vehicles (50 max) set-up to pass out candy. Small Groups can set up vehicles together in a group if you want to fellowship and serve together. We will need to know how many parking spots to designate for each Small Group that wants to participate. Individuals, couples, and families can sign up for single parking spots as well. Games will be assigned to individuals, families, or groups that agree to operate a game or activity. We will spread the games out as much as possible for distancing and to keep large crowds or lines from forming.
  • Responsibilities. In addition to decorating your vehicle, passing out candy, and running games, we are asking that each individual, family, or group be prepared to connect with guests, have friendly conversations, invite people to church, and share the gospel when an opportunity presents itself.

If you have questions about the Fall Festival please contact the church office, 573-468-8044. Due to this being an outdoor event, Fall Festival will be canceled in the event of rain or inclement weather.
