Serving in the church makes a gospel impact. By serving, you help TBC fulfill our mission to know Christ and make him know. What we do cannot be done without faithful men and women serving every week.

How do I volunteer?

If you would like to volunteer for one of the opportunities listed here, or for something not listed, click the link above and fill out the form. In the "comments" box on the form be very specific about the kind of ministry service opportunity you are interested in volunteering for. 

How do I volunteer to work with kids or students?

Click the "volunteer" link and fill out the form. We will send your message to those who lead our children and student programs. To volunteer you will need to authorize TBC to conduct a background check. Any teaching volunteer position requires that you be a member of TBC for at least one year. 

How do I volunteer for music ministry?

Click the "volunteer" link and fill out the form. In the comment section be specific about what you want to volunteer for and what your qualifications are. Auditions may be required to join the worhsip team. 

Volunteer Opportunities

Nursery & Preschool Ministry
Every Sunday morning, every Wednesday evening, and during special events we have opportunities for you to assist in leading or assisting our nursery and preschool classrooms. Child care is an essential ministry, providing a safe, loving environment for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers while their parents participate in our weekly gatherings and Bible Studies. Must be 16+ to volunteer. A background check is required. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Kids Ministry
Our kids ministry is thriving and in need of volunteer leaders, teachers, and assistants. Serving children grades 1-5, kids ministry consists of teaching children's church during our Sunday Morning Gatherings at 8:15 am and 10:45 am, teaching a small group on Sundays at 9:30 a.m., and teaching or assisting a classroom Bible study during our Wednesday Evening Gatherings.  Must be 16+ to volunteer and must be a Member of TBC to teach. Student Ministry
Our teenagers meet on Sunday mornings for small groups, on Wednesday evenings for worship and Bible study, and gather for special events and mission trips throughout the year. We need volunteer group leaders, teachers, and assistants to serve our youth group throughout the year. Must be 18+ to volunteer and a member of TBC to teach. iXL Academy
iXL Academy Preschool and After School programs need volunteers to help assist teachers, teach bible stories, read to students, make snacks, make crafts, assist with homework, offer educational enrichment activities, open doors and greet parents during pick-up time, and help in many other areas, with opportunities to serve up to five days per week. Must be 16+ to serve, however, anyone below the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult while with children. Background checks are required. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Worship Team
Our worship team is made up of volunteers who sing and play instruments to help lead us in worship every Sunday morning. Must be 16+ to volunteer and a member of TBC. An audition may be required for instrumental or vocal volunteer positions. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Choir
Join the worship choir. Our choir leads our holiday services during the Christmas and Easter seasons. Must be 16+ to volunteer. No auditions are required. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Production Team
TBC needs volunteers to serve on our production team (Audio, Video, Lighting). Volunteers serve on Sunday mornings during our worship gatherings, on Wednesday evenings, and during special events, church-wide meetings, weddings, and funerals. Must be 16+ to serve. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Communications
Use your talents and gifts to help the church carry out its mission through graphic design, social media management, church communication, writing, web development, photography, and videography. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Hospitality Team
TBC seeks to show hospitality to others in several ways. Volunteers serve meals on Wednesday evenings, help with church-wide meals, and prepare funeral dinners. In addition, Volunteers from our Small Groups help make coffee and serve on Sunday mornings. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Greeter Team
Our greeters serve to create a welcoming atmosphere during our Sunday services. Volunteers greet those arriving at our Worship Center Foyer and Children's Building Foyer and assist visitors in finding their way. Families welcome and are encouraged to serve together in this ministry. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Security Team
During Sunday and Wednesday gatherings and special events, our security team volunteers ensure the safety and security of TBC by providing protective, medical, and emergency management. Anyone 21+ can volunteer to serve. Those trained in law enforcement, public safety, or emergency medical services are highly encouraged to volunteer to serve on the Security Team. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Small Group Leader
We have Small Groups for all ages and stages of life, from children to senior adults. Our Small Group leaders teach every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. In addition, they lead their group in caring for one another, keeping active prayer lists, and making time for fellowship. Our Small Groups are one of TBC's most important aspects of community life. Must be 18+ to volunteer, and must be a member of TBC. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Bible Study Leaders
At TBC we offer Bible Study classes throughout the year. We have classes that meet at various times each week, including Wednesday and Sunday. These short-term classes meet for a limited time, for discipleship and spiritual formation. If you are interested in teaching a short-term Bible Study, you must be 18+ and a member of TBC. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Love Thy Neighbor
We have a team of volunteers who are available to help people in need in our community with small construction projects, home repairs, and maintenance needs. This team is called upon when a need arises. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Buildings and Grounds
We have a large campus that requires a lot of maintenance and upkeep. We need volunteers willing to assist the church in keeping up with regular maintenance, including but not limited to, painting, small repairs, deep cleaning, organizing, spraying, pulling weeds, cleaning lots, etc. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Nursing Home Ministry
Join our team of volunteers who lead and serve the residents of local nursing homes on Sundays. 
Van Driver
A team of volunteers drive our vans to pick up kids on Wednesdays for church, and to shuttle people to and from church who need rides. In addition, our van drivers may drive for special activities and events for children and youth, and during Vacation Bible School. Volunteers must be between the ages of 21-81 and have a valid driver's license to drive. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE 
Charitable Errands
Assistance in running errands or providing rides for our members or others in our community. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Counting Team
Volunteers count, record, and deposit the weekly offering each Sunday. A minimum of two volunteers must be present during the counting process. Must be 21+ and a member of TBC to volunteer.  VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Special Events
Each year we have special events, church-wide meetings, and activities, that require volunteers to help with set-up, tear-down, clean-up, and serving during these big events. Types of service vary depending on the event. This team of volunteers is called upon when needed. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
Operation Christmas Child
TBC participates in Operation Christmas Child in two ways. 1) by packing and collecting shoeboxes. 2. By being the local collection center for shoeboxes in our area. Volunteers help with both. If you are interested in helping with Operation Christmas Child.  VOLUNTEER TO SERVE
