Student Discipleship

Committed to Knowing God's Word

TBC offers students an opportunity to study the Bible, to pray for one another, and to ask questions about faith, life, and identity.

Our Small Groups meet every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for Bible Study, led by adult volunteers who have a heart for our students, and a desire to see them grow in their faith.
On Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m., our students gather for worship, hear a message, and divide into smaller groups to study and discuss the word.

In addition to church led everal student-led ministries have developed, including student prayer groups at school campuses on Mondays.

Student Missions & Outreach

Viburnum, MO
June 22-26, 2025

Love Thy Neighbor (LTN) is an opportunity for students to participate in a multi-denominational, construction-based ministry with a simple yet profound mission: “We do for others what they can’t do for themselves because Jesus did for us what we can’t do for ourselves.” During this week-long service event, students will volunteer in community service and construction projects, participate in nightly worship services, have daily Bible study, and prayer, and have the opportunity to connect with the families being served in the community.
Ridgecrest, NC
July 13-19

TBC Students have participated in M-Fuge camps since 2001. At MFUGE, students participate in a unique church camp experience that provides ministry opportunities and serves local communities daily. FUGE Camp staffers lead Bible studies, facilitate ministry opportunities at mission sites, lead worship and devotional times, and challenge students to grow in their faith, to build meaningful relationships, and foster group unity. MFuge is designed to give students a mission experience that opens their eyes to similar opportunities they may have to serve in their own communities.

Student Praise Team

TBC is committed to discipling and training the next generation. Students on our praise team use their gifts and talents as vocalists and instrumentalists, while others contribute by planning worship sets, and operating sound, media, and lighting equipment. Every Wednesday evening and every 5th Sunday, TBC Students lead worship.
